Common issues

📄️ App shows "No connection with SimBox Control"
Below you can find some common issues that may cause this problem. Please keep in mind that in about 95% of cases additional configuration is not needed. Sometimes it's enough to restart SimBox Control app or simply uninstall and install it again.
📄️ App shows "Not connected to simulator"
This is common issue for MSFS users. Make sure you've followed steps described here.
📄️ FMC/MCDU does not fit perfectly
Your error is most probably caused by windows toolbar that is hidden on 3d display. SimBox virtual display is designed for systems with windows toolbar ON.
📄️ I can see "INOP" while using Fenix A320 profile
"INOP" is a short form of "Inoperative". It means that the button/display is not working.
📄️ SimBox Client is slow
SimBox Client was designed for Android, IOS and web. Some older Android devices may have problems with performance. Please report that to us. We're constantly working to improve this.
📄️ Multiple virtual displays were created
In very rare cases, SimBox Control may create multiple virtual displays. It's was an issue in previous versions of SimBox Control. If you're using latest version, you should not have this issue.
📄️ 'SPIFFS' was not declared in this scope
This error may occur when you try to compile a sketch that uses the SPIFFS library.
📄️ Issue with MSFS pop-up window after SU12
After Sim Update 12 of MSFS2020 some users experience problems with pop-up windows. Please read below to understand what is the problem and how to fix it.

SimBox Control should update automatically once new version is released.
📄️ I can see play symbol instead of virtual display
SimBox uses video stream to fetch content of the virtual display. Video element that is responsible for displaying video stream should start automatically.
📄️ Could not connect to web FMC/MCDU
