We're excited to announce our biggest internationalization update yet! This release adds 4 new languages and over 50 regional accents, making Cabby the most linguistically diverse flight simulation companion available.

We've added support for four new languages, bringing our total language count even higher:

Flight Stage Detection Customization ⚙️​

We've completely revamped the automatic flight stage detection system. You now have full control over when Cabby transitions between flight phases:

Customizable Settings Include:​

Taxi Pre-Takeoff:

  • Toggle beacon light detection for taxi state

Take Off:

  • Configure TO lights detection
  • Configure strobe lights detection

Climb:

  • Set custom altitude threshold above ground

Cruise:

  • Adjust altitude tolerance from cruise altitude

Descent:

  • Set vertical speed thresholds
  • Configure altitude thresholds from cruise

Final Approach:

  • Toggle gear down detection

Taxi Post-Landing:

  • Configure ground speed threshold
  • Toggle strobe light detection

On Blocks:

  • Toggle beacon light detection

This gives you complete flexibility to match your flying style and aircraft-specific behaviors.

Additional Improvements 🚀​

Destination Fun Facts 🎯​

New option to include or exclude destination city fun facts after landing - perfect for those who want either more immersion or a streamlined experience.

Internal Communications Language 🎙️​

New setting to play internal communication messages in English only, regardless of your selected flight languages. Great for pilots who want passenger announcements in local languages but crew communications in English.

Discord Rich Presence Improvements 💬​

  • Dynamic status messages with fun variations
  • POI display during cruise (shows what you're flying over!)
  • Detailed landing statistics display
  • Callsign included in flight info

Landing Quality Updates 🛬​

We've refined the landing quality thresholds to better reflect real-world standards:

  • Soft Landing: Now requires G-Force max of 1.15 and vertical speed max of 300 ft/min
  • Moderate Landing: Vertical speed max adjusted to 800 ft/min

All new languages and accents are available immediately in your flight settings. Simply select your preferred language and accent combinations before your next flight. The flight stage detection settings can be found in the Settings menu.
