Version 0.7.0 released
Close to descend scenario, flying over cities announcements, and much more have been added in this release.
Changesโ
Close to descend scenario ๐ฌโ
Cabby now handles the "Close to descend" scenario. This scenario is triggered when the aircraft is close to the destination airport and the descent is about to start. The announcement is played to inform the passengers about the upcoming descent.
Flying over cities announcements ๐๏ธโ
Cabby now announces the names of the cities that the aircraft is flying over. Usually such information is provided together with speed, altitude, and other details.
Automatically turn on/off Fenix cabin lights ๐กโ
Cabby now automatically turns on and off the Fenix cabin lights when you perform the night flight. This is of course followed by a proper announcement.
Add short flight flag ๐โ
A new flag has been added to the flight data. This flag indicates that the flight is short and the announcements should be adjusted accordingly. If air time is less than 90 minutes, the flag is set.
Add option to manually specify speed units ๐๏ธโ
Cabby will automatically determine if your flight should use km/h or mph based on the origin and destination countries. However, you can now manually specify the speed units in the "pre-flight" settings.
Setting to display local simulator time during flight โฐโ
A new setting has been added to display the local simulator time during the flight. This is useful when you want to know the local time at your current location.
Other changesโ
- Fix false delay indication when changing the default simrate
- Fix runtime-generated text translation mismatch
- Fix "only priority language" option not working sometimes
- Fix spelling of some numeric values (usually in languages different than English)
- Fix wrong number of emergency exits announced for A321
- Handle wrong translations returned by the Google Translate API
