We're happy to announce that SimBox now supports Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024!
After initial tests, we can confirm that the latest version of the Microsoft simulator is supported by our application.
What does it mean?
It means that SimBox successfully recognizes the simulator and is able to provide data exchange between the simulator and the aircraft profile.
Please note, that some of the profiles may not work correctly yet. SimBox mostly relies on aircraft-specific data, and if the aircraft profile is not yet updated to support the latest simulator version, some of the features may not work as expected. We're working on updating the profiles, so please be patient.
We'll also be monitoring 3rd party aircraft updates and will try to keep up with the changes as soon as possible.
How to update?
SimBox application should automatically update to the latest version. If you're not sure if you have the latest version, you can check it in the bottom left corner of the PC application window.
MSFS Connect plugin
You'll have to put the SimBox MSFS Connect plugin into your new community directory. If you're updating from MSFS2020, you can simply copy and paste simbox-msfs-connect folder from the old community directory to the new one.
You can also do this from the Plugins tab in the SimBox application.
Also - please remember to "activate" (by clicking in the MSFS toolbar) the SimBox plugin.

We'll investigate technical possibilities of the new simulator and will try to provide new features and updates that can be used with the latest version of Microsoft Flight Simulator.
